I use Headway to manage my billing and admin work related to insurance. Headway manages everything related to payments and insurance. Through Headway, I accept Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Oscar Health, Oxford, and United Healthcare.

Telehealth for South Carolina and Florida Residents

I am a licensed telehealth provider for residents in South Carolina and Florida. This means we can work together via virtual sessions if you are either living in or visiting South Carolina or Florida

About Me

Therapeutic Style

Therapy is about progress and growth through a mutually respectful relationship where you will feel heard and understood. I believe in being authentic and understanding to help process life's uncertainties. I frequently use activities or other creative interventions to facilitate the therapeutic process. Each time we meet, you will learn something new about yourself, how you view the world, or what are your next actionable steps. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist with a commitment to social justice and diversity. I value and seek to uplift all intersecting identities you may hold.

Education

I am dually licensed as a LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor) and a School Counselor in the state of North Carolina. I received my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Iowa, Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health, Play Therapy Certificate, and School Counseling Certificate from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. I have worked as a Mental Health Therapist and as a School Counselor in Charlotte Mecklenburg School system.
